“Making lasting connections between USU’s international students and scholars, and the families and community in Cache Valley”

Hosting Students for the United Nations (UN) International Day of Friendship
The International Day of Friendship 2026 falls on Thursday, July 30. This United Nations (UN) observance promotes peace, mutual understanding, and human solidarity by encouraging people to build connections across different cultures, countries, and backgrounds. Help us celebrate by hosting 2 or more USU International Students in your home, at a restaurant, or on a picnic for an afternoon or evening meal and make some new friends.
